A WiseWeber member page is an easy-to-build, single web page that portrays
your perspective about a topic that matters to you. It is a page that can
point to your favorite sources of information, such as links, RSS feeds,
eBay auctions, Amazon products, Flickr photos, blogs and whatever else you
might want to add. So when someone is looking for information about your
particular topic, your personal member page gets him started quickly and
directs him to what he is looking for. Good for him, good for you.

There are so many reasons to create a member page at WiseWeber, but here are just a few:
• Share what you know: You have all this knowledge trapped in your brain. Why not let it all out and help other people learn about what you know?
• Knowledge, power, respect: Knowledge, power, and respect are the keys to life. You have knowledge on a certain subject. A WiseWeber member page gives you the power to share this knowledge, which in turn gives you the respect of your peers as the go-to authority on your topic.
Of course not! Building a page at WiseWeber is free and will always be .
We are here to help, for no charge, ever.
Just follow the formula below
1. First, you’ll need to create an account with WiseWeber. It will only take a minute and you’ll be well on your way to building your first page.
2. Next, pick a catchy title and add some descriptive tags for your page.
3. Create the content for your page using modules of your choice. Include text, images, videos, products, or one of the many other features.
4. Finally, after you’ve perfected your page, publish it for others to see!
Modules are the building blocks of your WiseWeber member pages, the pieces of the
complete puzzle that makes up your page. Whenever you want to place any kind of content onto your member page this requires a module. There are text modules, photo modules, video modules, eBay modules, RSS feed modules and plenty more. You can adjust your modules anyway you want to achieve the perfect look and feel.

Earning revenue is easy. When you use WiseWeber, you earn money by inserting one of the revenue-generating modules on your WiseWeber member page. This is how it’s done:
o First, you set up your WiseWeber member page.
o Then you set up affiliate accounts with Google AdSense, eBay, Amazon, or whichever commerce sites you choose.
o Product ads are then automatically displays on your WiseWeber member page that are relevant to your topic.
o Products from whichever commerce sites you choose can be featured in your page – you decide which products to highlight or have the sites pick for you.
o When you recommend other sites’ products to someone and he purchases that product, that site pays you for your referral.
Best of all, unlike many of our competitors, WiseWeber does not collect the revenue then pay you a percentage. Rather, you enter your affiliate code directly into the module and you collect the money directly from the affiliate company.
Whichever modules you use to generate revenue pay you directly.
If you place Google AdSense ads on your WiseWeber member page, you get paid
directly from Google. If you use the Amazon module, you get paid directly from
Amazon. We don’t get involved and take a percentage of profits which are
rightfully yours. Your money is your money!

WiseWeber uses scores to determine the quality of individual member pages,
much like how search engines ranks popular pages. A score is used to determine
your page rank. Many factors contribute to our rating scale.
The score takes into account many factors and will vary quite a bit from the time a member page is published, as data about its performance continues to stream in.
The most important score components include:
• Traffic, including percentage from sources other than pages
• The uniqueness of content (pages with content copied from other websites will be penalized)
• The length of time you spend building and maintaining your pages
• How other Webers rank your member page
If you write original, useful content, your high score will reflect all the hard work you've put into your WiseWeber member page.
We at WiseWeber passionately believe that everyone deserves a voice online, which
is why we provide our free service for sharing and spreading
recommendations, ideas, products and passions.
We also believe that being featured in WiseWeber search results, to our community, and to the rest of the world, is a privilege.
Therefore, spammers are not welcome and will be punished accordingly.
Authentic webpages built by real people with good intentions are the foundation and future of the Internet,
and we're focused on making it easy for you to do so.

As you design more WiseWeber pages to share all of your knowledge, you’ll eventually want to organize them so readers can easily navigate through all your work.
A group is the tool that helps you organize all your pages to make navigation easy.
Start by organizing a group of member pages that share common characteristics.
Follow the steps below to make your group.
• Add New Group: To create a group, click on the “Groups” menu and select “New Group”.
• Edit Group: Click on the “Groups” menu and select “My Groups”.
• Close a Group: Click “Close Group” while on that group. This will not delete any member pages within that group.
After you’ve finished, a box will be displayed on that member page that is part of a group.
Inside the box is the title of the page where you currently are, followed by an link.
By clicking on the area, you can see all the related member pages in that group.

The content is entirely yours. We simply provide the technology to support it.
RSS, or Real Simple Syndication, is a rapidly spreading technology that
helps you monitor websites that are constantly being updated.
RSS is a signal from your favorite blog or website that tells WiseWeber or an
RSS reader that it has been updated.
Let’s say you ask WiseWeber to watch an RSS feed of your favorite blog..
Whenever the blog is updated, the new post shows up in your member page
and your readers can quickly see what's new.
If there's nothing new on the blog you're watching, it doesn't show up and
your page stays the same.
To use RSS with WiseWeber, all you have to do is copy the RSS feed code out
of a desired blog or other RSS-enabled page. On many machines, you do this by
pointing to the button labeled RSS or ATOM or SUBSCRIBE while holding down the
control key on your keyboard. Then hit "copy link location" or similar task button.
Paste that link location into your WiseWeber module and your done.
You can easily transfer a WiseWeber member page to anyone you want.
If your friend is not already a WiseWeber member, she will have to sign up in order to accept the page.
As many as you’d like. There's no limit to your interests and knowledge, so
there should be no limit to the number of pages you can build.
But you should know that squatters aren’t rewarded. So if we see that you
have too many (we determine what is too many) empty pages on our website,
or claimed but "unimproved" pages, we will contact you to ensure that you update
them or we'll delete them.
“Incomplete” simply means that the quality of the member page does not live up to WiseWeber standards.
Below are some common reasons that a member page may be flagged as incomplete:
• Obviously if it’s unfinished
• Very little content
• Missing videos
• Too many broken links
• Contributes nothing new in a heavily saturated topic
• Links with deceptive or inaccurate link text
Member pages designed only to promote other sites or businesses are not allowed.
In particular, the following actions are likely to get your member page flagged as overly promotional:
• Linking repeatedly to the same site within a member page or across many member pages
• Including links to a page that contains largely the same content as your member page
• Linking to products or services unrelated to a member page’s's content
• Including more than three (3) links to any one domain
• Posting "teasers" with links to "read more" at another site
• Including promotional links on content that is unoriginal (i.e. not exclusive to member pages); promotional links can only be included on content that is exclusive to member pages
Please note that promotional links are links that you have any interest in promoting (your Website, your blog, affiliate program, etc.). Links to well-known Web resources which you don't have any personal interest in (like Wikipedia, news source sites, directories, etc.) are exempt from this rule.
The title and tags of your member page must accurately represent its contents or
it will be flagged as wrongfully tagged or titled.
When choosing a tag, you should ask yourself, "Would a fan of this tag be interested
in your member page?" If not, do use that tag, or you may be flagged.
In particular, tagging your member page with a lot of very general tags,
such as “travel”, “entertainment”, “food”, or “music” when your member page is not
specifically about these topics is liable to get you into trouble.
